The road from Yeomgok Intersection in Seocho-gu, Seoul to the northern end of Hannam Bridge. It serves as the boundary between Gangnam-gu and Seocho-gu, and is a 50m wide (10 lanes round trip) road and Hellgate. It is also the eastern end of Yeongdeungpo. (Refer to Yeongdeungpo-gu/History section and this section.) Seocho-gu Before the division, this road was in the center of Gangnam-gu, so the name of the subway station on Line 2 passing under this road was Gangnam Station.
It is the center of the Gangnam area to the extent that this is where the expression “bus train” was coined. Centering on Gangnam Station, which is located on this road, the daily floating population alone reaches 130,000 people.
